Culinary Clash is an original card game created, designed, and physically produced from the ground up. The project began with playtesting real games to understand game mechanics and rules. From there,
I created a concept and visual identity for the game, including card layouts, illustrations, and typography, ensuring the playability of the game.

Beyond design, I managed the full production process, preparing print files for packaging, selecting materials for tokens, and overseeing the physical fabrication. This included prototyping, playtesting, iterating on both gameplay and visual elements, and producing a finished, tangible product. The final result is a fully functional and playable card game that
players can enjoy.

In-Play

The Tyler School of Art and Architecture hosted a game night exhibition where the public could stop by and play a variety of student‑designed games. People seemed to really enjoy the fast‑paced gameplay of my game, and as they grew used to the flow, the matches grew more competitive.

Card Designs

Throughout my card game, every illustration follows a strict rule that nothing can have rounded corners. Every shape is built from straight lines, even the circles. Keeping everything within that limitation made the visuals more consistent and helped the game develop a clear, consistent style.
